What apps can be published with a WEB account?
Separate account capabilities from Apple’s app-review decision.
A WEB account can submit the same range of apps as any active membership of the same official type. WEB describes browser enrollment, not a restricted App Store catalog. Approval depends on the product, the rights behind it, its business model and current App Review rules.

WEB does not define an app category
Apple does not publish a separate list of permitted apps for browser-enrolled memberships. After enrollment, distribution runs through the usual certificates, identifiers and App Store Connect workflow. The account label does not grant approval or replace licenses.
Seven common directions
The limits follow the app, not WEB enrollment
| Category | Can be submitted? | Typical extra requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Gambling / betting | Yes, conditionally | Licensing and geographic restriction |
| Dating / social | Yes | UGC safety and moderation |
| Crypto / FinTech | Yes, conditionally | Regulatory authorization where applicable |
| Utilities / VPN | Yes | Real functionality and clear subscriptions |
| Games | Yes | Content and payment compliance |
| Business / SaaS | Yes | Privacy, rights and account access |
| Health | Yes, conditionally | Evidence for medical functions and claims |
Can one account publish several different apps?
Yes. App Store Connect supports creating separate app records in one account, and each record has its own bundle ID, metadata, builds and review. There is no rule that all apps in an account must share one category. However, serious violations can affect more than one submission and may place the membership itself at risk.
Commercial apps and monetization
Free apps, paid downloads, advertising, subscriptions, digital goods and SaaS companion apps are possible. Selling paid apps or using In-App Purchases requires an active Paid Apps Agreement plus banking and tax information. Digital features must use the payment route required by Apple’s current rules.
What App Review actually evaluates
Apple reviews each submission’s functionality, safety, privacy, metadata, intellectual-property rights, business model and reviewer access. For regulated products, prepare licenses and geographic availability. For account-based apps, provide a working demo login and clear review notes.
