How to add banking information in App Store Connect
The agreements, roles and details required to receive payments from Apple.
Paying the annual Developer Program membership and configuring proceeds are separate operations. The card used for membership does not become a payout destination. To monetize paid apps, subscriptions or In-App Purchases, complete the commercial setup in App Store Connect.

Before you start
- An active Apple Developer Program membership and App Store Connect access
- Account Holder access to sign the Paid Apps Agreement
- A supported bank account and its exact bank-record details
- Tax identity information required for the enrolled person or entity
- Two-factor authentication access
Who can do what
Only the Account Holder can sign legal agreements. Account Holder, Admin and Finance roles can manage tax and financial information within their permissions. If another role initiates a bank change, Account Holder confirmation may be required.
Connect payouts step by step
Open Business
Sign in to App Store Connect and open Business. Agreements, bank accounts and tax forms are managed here.
Sign the Paid Apps Agreement
In Agreements, find Paid Apps, choose View and Agree to Terms, review the contract and accept it as Account Holder.
Add the bank account
Open Bank Accounts and choose Add Bank Account. Select the bank territory and locate the bank using the requested code or search details.
Enter exact banking details
Enter the supported currency, account number or IBAN in its correct field, holder name and address exactly as the bank records show. Do not substitute an IBAN for a local account number.
Submit tax information
Under Tax Forms, choose Add Tax Info and answer the questions shown. App Store Connect directs US and non-US developers to the applicable forms; regional forms may also appear.
Check the agreement status
Return to Agreements. Active means the contract is in effect; Pending User Info, Processing or Verifying indicate that information or review is still outstanding.
Banking fields: what they mean
| Field | Enter |
|---|---|
| Bank Territory | The country or region of the bank branch |
| Bank Account Currency | A currency the account can receive |
| Account Holder Name | Exact bank-record spelling and punctuation |
| IBAN | The IBAN only when a dedicated IBAN field is shown |
| Bank Account Number | The local account number, including leading zeroes |
| Bank Code / Routing | The clearing identifier requested for that territory |
Tax forms are part of payout setup
Apple requires a US tax form for the Paid Apps Agreement and may require additional forms based on location and tax status. App Store Connect may present W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E or another applicable form. Answer the guided questions rather than choosing a form by guesswork, and use professional tax advice when needed.
Agreement statuses
| New | Not signed |
| Pending User Info | Required information is incomplete |
| Processing | Submitted information is under review |
| Verifying | Additional legal-entity details are being reviewed |
| Active | Agreement is in effect |
| Expired / Disabled | Renewal or corrective action is required |
How proceeds reach the bank
When Apple pays
Apple says eligible payments are sent within 45 days after the end of the fiscal month. You need an active agreement, complete banking information, any required invoicing and the applicable minimum payment threshold. Split payments to several bank accounts are not supported.
